Tottenham Hotspur allowed Nabil Bentaleb to join Schalke on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window.
On-loan Schalke midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has shared how he holds no grudges against anyone at parent club Tottenham, during an exclusive interview with Algerian publication Le Bebuteur.
The 21-year-old Algeria international made the move to the Bundesliga in August on a season-long loan deal, and has been in a rich vein of form after being deployed in a more advanced role than he ever was at White Hart Lane, scoring four times and chipping in with two assists in 10 league appearances.

The German outfit have an option to buy inserted into their deal with Spurs, and after how he has performed this season, a return to London is looking less and less likely.
Bentaleb sat down for an interview with Le Bebuteur, and divulged his feelings towards the north London club where he spent the first three years of his career as a senior player:

“I don’t hold a grudge with anyone. The manager had a good season, and you can’t criticise him. Down my end, I got injured, and when I came back, it was hard to impose myself.”
With so many midfield options available to Mauricio Pochettino, it is hard to imagine a future for the Algerian at Spurs, and if he keeps performing the way he has been, the decision could be out of their hands anyway come next summer.
