Fredericks has made three appearances for Middlesbrough this season since joining on loan for the year.
The 21-year-old impressed briefly in chances for Tottenham last season in the Europa League, and has made four appearances for the first team.
As Ryan Mason showed last week, Tottenham’s new boss Mauricio Pochettino will give chances to their youngsters – Fredericks just has to continue playing well through the season.
