The Tottenham Hotspur forward will spend the rest of the season on loan at Exeter.
Young Tottenham Hotspur striker Ryan Loft will spend the rest of the season in League Two with Exeter City and it will be intriguing to see what impact he makes.
The 20-year-old has featured regularly for Tottenham at U23 level but is now eager to test himself further in senior football and build upon the experience that he gained during a stint with Stevenage last season.
Loft isn’t the most prolific of players – he has scored four times in 26 appearances for Tottenham at U23 level – but his all-round game is rather impressive, especially in regards to his physical strength.
Even when up against significantly more experienced opponents, Loft is capable of using his strength to his advantage, while he also works effectively off the ball, creating space for his team-mates to run into.
If he is to carve out a career as a striker at a high level then Loft will certainly have to start scoring more frequently, but he does at least have other aspects of his game which are extremely useful.
Loft can certainly hold his own in League Two in a physical sense and he will now be determined to make a major impact for Exeter, who are currently in fifth place in the table and are looking to secure a play-off spot.
