Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur want Sofyan Amrabat but Fiorentina aren’t planning to lose their key midfielder any time soon.
The World Cup presents a great stage for players to shine and attract suitors elsewhere.
Mohammed Kudus and Cody Gakpo spring to mind but Tunisia midfielder Aissa Laidouni is bound to attract major interest.
Amrabat now appears to be joining that list with Premier League clubs vying for his signature ahead of the January window.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur want Sofyan Amrabat
Morocco have been one of the surprise packages of this World Cup.
Walid Regragui’s side have picked up seven points from games against Croatia, Belgium and Canada to book their place in the last 16.
Tuesday’s meeting with Spain will be tough but Morocco will be looking for key players to give them a chance.
Achraf Hakimi and Hakim Ziyech spring to mind but midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is really shining.
The Fiorentina star – Morocco’s vice-captain – is turning heads with his displays in Qatar.
Viola News claim that Tottenham are back in the race for Amrabat after a January deal ‘collapsed’ according to Fabrizio Romano, with Antonio Conte especially keen.
Tottenham aren’t alone in the race for Amrabat though as Liverpool are now keen too.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has taken to Twitter to claim that Liverpool are ‘especially’ interested in Amrabat.
The 26-year-old will allegedly cost around €30million (£26million) with Fiorentina understandably reluctant to sell.
Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has now offered a rather blunt verdict on the rumours linking Amrabat with a move to England.
Prade told Firenze Viola ‘we’re holding on to him’, a five-word message that indicate Liverpool and Tottenham will have to spend big if they want to lure Amrabat away from Florence.
Liverpool and Tottenham will surely watch Amrabat in action against Spain and if he shines in that game, a January bid may well arrive.
