Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in signing Torino defender Bremer, but Liverpool are backing away now they have Ibrahima Konate on board.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has been speaking about Bremer on YouTube.
Romano claims Liverpool wanted Bremer for a long time and scouted him repeatedly at Torino.
Yet with Ibrahima Konate now snapped up, Liveprool aren’t seeking another centre back.
Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Nat Phillips are all at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal, so you can understand that stance.
Tottenham instead appear to be the frontrunners for Bremer. Torino Granata claim that Tottenham are ‘insistent’ on signing Bremer.
A £17million deal could be done in January with Antonio Conte thought to be more interested in Bremer than anybody else.
So what does Romano actually think of the 24-year-old defender?
Romano suggests that Bremer is ‘really incredible’, praising his strength, physique and ability on the ball.

Romano added that Bremer may not be the captain at Torino, but he has shown his ability as a leader – something Tottenham do need.
“Liverpool have this boy in their list for a long time before signing Ibrahima Konate,” said Romano. “They are super happy now with the centre backs they have, they have too many centre backs. But this boy was on Liverpool’s radar for a long time with their scouts, and many many times they were watching this boy play with Torino.”
“His performances in Serie A are really incredible, trust me guys. This boy has strength, he has a fantastic physical structure, but he also has quality when the ball is into his feet. He is a true leader because he has worked many times as a potential captain for Torino – he is not the captain, because the captain is Andrea Belotti the striker – but Bremer is acting like a captain, he is a true leader and his skills are incredible,” he added.
