The Burnley defender is said to have alerted interest from several clubs – but not Tottenham Hotspur – this season.

Bookmaker Bet Victor has opened a market on James Tarkowski’s next club, and made Tottenham Hotspur 8/1 outsiders to sign the Burnley defender.
Tarkoswki has excelled after stepping into Michael Keane’s shoes at the start of the past campaign, and made his England debut earlier this year.
Unsurprisingly, his form is said to have alerted interest from a number of clubs, including Tottenham’s London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.
And it is those two teams that lead the early betting, with Arsenal 4/1 (favourites) and Chelsea 6/1 for Tarkowski’s signature.

Tottenham’s presence is interesting given that they have yet to be credited with interest in the 25-year-old, although Spurs could be in the market for a new centre-half, with the future of Toby Alderweireld still uncertain.
Mancunian by birth, Tarkowski spent two years in England’s capital as a Brentford player, but returned north with Burnley in early 2016 having expressed a desire to be nearer his family.
