Tottenham Hotspur hero Clive Allen has praised Manor Solomon following his performance in Saturday’s 5-2 win over Burnley.
Manor Solomon picked up two assists in Tottenham Hotspur’s 5-2 defeat of Burnley and has been hailed by Clive Allen.
Spurs were in blistering form on Saturday with Burnley swatted aside by the rise of ‘Angeball’.
Lyle Foster’s opener threatened to make this a tricky afternoon for Tottenham but Spurs ended up running away with it.
Son Heung-min’s hat-trick grabbed the headlines but Cristian Romero and James Maddison also scored superb goals too.
One key man who didn’t get on the scoresheet was winger Solomon, who picked up two assists in Tottenham’s win.
The Israeli was a constant menace having been brought into the side as Tottenham’s left winger, with Son moving up top to fill in Richarlison.
Solomon has now been praised by Tottenham legend Clive Allen having impressed in his first start of the season.
Speaking to Spurs Play, Allen suggested that Solomon was a ‘real threat’ down Tottenham’s left flank and praised his ‘fabulous’ performance with those two assists.
“I thought he was bright, he was a real threat off the left hand side,” said Allen. “I think the combinations with Udogie, who supported him well, those understandings are growing and his contribution was fabulous; he made Sonny’s first, then made Sonny’s second,” he added.

Manor Solomon has given Ange Postecoglou plenty to think about
Tottenham started their first three games with Richarlison up top, flanked by Son and Dejan Kulusevski.
Spurs have now added another attacking option with Brennan Johnson coming in from Nottingham Forest on deadline day.
The Welshman will put everyone on their toes given that he can play all the way across the Tottenham attack.

Johnson wasn’t registered in time to play against Burnley though and with Richarlison not fully fit, Solomon was given his chance to shine.
The 24-year-old simply had to take his chance; Richarlison and Johnson will be raring to go after the international break.
Solomon did his job brilliantly, laying on two goals in a dangerous performance.
A livewire winger who can play on either flank, Solomon made a real statement with this display and has shown Ange Postecoglou that he is ready to compete for a starting role moving forward.
