Would you rather have Mesut Ozil in your side than Dele Alli?

Arsenal’s terrible performance against Crystal Palace was a big blow to their Champions League hopes, and no Gunners player emerged with credit.

Record signing Mesut Ozil was utterly ineffective, and once again failed to make an impact away from home.

His display was widely panned, with the worst moment coming when he tried to pass the ball to an Arsenal substitute warming up, which led to Palace’s second goal.

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Graham Roberts slammed his display, arguing that he would not want Ozil in the Spurs team, putting his point across that there are two players he would rather pick.

Eriksen and Alli are regulars in the Tottenham team, and have the work rate Ozil does not deliver.

Ozil has scored 10 goals for Arsenal this season in all competition, his best return yet, and provided nine assists, but just of these strikes has come in his last 10 matches.

The German was supposed to be the signing which took Arsenal to the next level, but the club are no closer to winning the Premier League title than when he arrived at the club so dramatically in 2013.
