Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Frenchman, after reports suggested he rejected a new deal at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has defended Manchester United speed machine Anthony Martial on Twitter after the Frenchman was once again linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
French outlet RMC Sport claim the 22-year-old has turned down a new five-year deal offered to him by Manchester United, which has reignited interest from the north Londoners as well as a handful of European heavyweights.

Italian champions Juventus and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in the former Monaco ace, who has been used inconsistently by Jose Mourinho this season.
Roberts claimed on Twitter that Mourinho has held the France international back, and reckons the Tottenham-linked star would be much better at a club where he can “express himself”.
Although Martial has made 40 appearances in all competitions this season, the versatile attacker has started only 24 of those. He has also been substituted 18 times, meaning he has completed 90 minutes just six times this term.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Martial in the past and it seems as though they could be interested in his services once again ahead of the summer transfer window.
