The Tottenham Hotspur manager is regarded as one of the best in the game.

Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles sat down for an exclusive interview with Football.London, and raved about the quality of Mauricio Pochettino, suggesting that he would not swap the Argentine for any manager in world football.

The 46-year-old has worked wonders at Spurs since taking over as manager back in the summer of 2014, and he has totally transformed the culture amongst the players at the club.

Poch is still yet to guide his side to a trophy, however, and the pressure is beginning to mount.

Ardiles, though, made the bold claim that there is no manager in world football who he would rather see in charge of Tottenham other than his fellow countryman, when speaking exclusively to Football.London:

“Mauricio is doing a great job. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I would not swap Mauricio for any manager, not only in England but anybody in the world. After all the things that happened in the World Cup, a lot of players in the semi-finals, when they came back to him and we are only two points from the very top of the Premier League. From my point of view I feel very, very confident.”

Tottenham have made a decent start to their 2018/19 campaign, and currently sit in fifth spot in the Premier League table, five points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, with a game in hand over Jürgen Klopp’s men.

The north London outfit play host to Manchester City tomorrow night, and a win against Pep Guardiola’s side really would underline their credentials as genuine title challengers this season.
