Tottenham legend Ledley King sat down for an exclusive interview with Football.London, and offered high words of praise for Mauricio Pochettino, sharing something that highlights what a great job the Argentine is doing at the club.
The 46-year-old took over as manager of Spurs in the summer of 2014, and he has transformed them into genuine challengers for the Premier League title on a yearly basis.
Tottenham play some of the best football in the league, and considering the lack of funds that Poch has had available to him, he really does deserve huge credit for the job that he has done.
King raved about the Argentine, when speaking exclusively to Football.London, and highlighted how well he has done in his role as Spurs boss, considering the fact that they have essentially played every game away from home since the start of last season:
“He’s doing such a great job. Just to play away from home is always difficult, but over the last year and a bit, even to maintain the top four finish is difficult for any of the clubs, but to be away from home for the whole season and still achieve that goes to show the job that he’s doing here.”
Next up for Spurs is their huge clash with Manchester City tomorrow night, and if they manage to win the game, they will be right in the mix for the Premier League title.
