Tottenham Hotspur won’t be inviting Sol Campbell to the final game at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham’s final game at White Hart Lane will be a day of celebration, so it is unsurprising the biggest villain in the club’s modern history won’t be invited.
The Times reported this week that the former Spurs captain won’t be getting an invite to the ‘legend’s parade’, which is hardly surprising.
Campbell became a public enemy number one when he ditched Spurs for Arsenal, going on to win league titles with the Gunners.

Despite the predictable snub, not everybody is happy.
Speaking to Talksport, football agent Sky Andrew suggested it would have been a good opportunity to move on and draw a line under the saga.
“It would be great for him to be there for the last game at the Lane and for everybody to finish on a good note.”
“Sol Campbell did absolutely nothing wrong. You cannot castigate a player for honouring his contract.”
Former Tottenham captain Graham Roberts talks to the media
At this point though it is too far gone for relations to be repaired, and former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts hit back at Andrew’s comments, branding him a comedian.
Spurs are flying in the Premier League at present despite the uncertainty about their future as they head to Wembley next season.
Not even Sol Campbell turning up at their final game could really distract from their achievements.
Even if he was invited, he would get a terrible reception and be better off not attending, rather than take away from what should be a celebratory occasion.
