Harry Kane is hoping he will be awarded Tottenham Hotspur’s second goal against Stoke City.

Kane originally thought Spurs’ second in the 2-1 win was his, before it was awarded to Christian Eriksen.

The judgement assessed Kane did not touch Eriksen’s goal bound effort – but he was adamant it did.

His stance has angered Liverpool supporters – who have a vested interest as they want their star man Mohamed Salah to beat Kane to the Golden Boot.

One called Kane ‘sad and selfish’, prompting Roberts to bite back.

Kane has missed almost a month of action with injury and is five goals behind Salah, who scored four goals in one match against Watford.

The Spurs striker faces Manchester City next, who will be determined to defend better than they have done in recent games.

Salah scored past them in the Champions League last week and will be looking to do so again as Liverpool bid to reach the semi-finals this week.
