Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts says he is irritated by Liverpool fans ahead of the Champions League final.

Roberts took to Twitter to suggest Reds supporters are getting ahead of themselves and believe their confidence of a final victory has turned into arrogance.

The former Spurs captain says he is even more determined for Tottenham to win in Madrid.

Liverpool won both their games against Tottenham in the Premier League this season and finished 16 points higher.

But Spurs have shown real resilience in the Champions League, seeing off Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Ajax along the way.

Reds fans would be wrong to think it is easy. Roberts may simply instead be confusing arrogance with Liverpool fans’ faith in their team.
