The Tottenham Hotspur duo have been poor for Spurs so far.
Ledley King has told The Mail that maligned duo Vincent Janssen and Moussa Sissoko will be “big players” Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham spent roughly £48 million on bringing the pair to North London this past summer but they have not looked sound investments.
Sissoko, a £30 million arrival from Newcastle, has managed one assist and zero goals from 12 appearances in all competitions, while Dutch striker Janssen has not scored from open play in any of his 20 appearances for Spurs so far.

Early days, of course, but both have a long way to go before they live up to their billing and price-tag, but Lilywhites legend King is confident that the pair will eventually do the business for the White Hart Lane club.
“They haven’t got off to the starts we would’ve hoped for but it’s still early,” he told The Mail.
“Janssen is still a young lad, he’s still learning the Premier League. Sissoko didn’t have the best of pre-seasons after the Euros and it was a bit of a testing time for him not knowing if he was going back to Newcastle.
“I think they’re still trying to find their feet and form, but these are players who are going to be big for the club, players we’re going to need throughout the course of the season.”

With Janssen, there is already a fear that he is simply the next Roberto Soldado – a big-money striker who will come nowhere near to justifying his promise.
He needs a lot of confidence if he is to avoid the Soldado route but, at the moment, he does not look like doing it.
