Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Nottingham Forest over sending Sergio Reguilon to the City Ground on loan for this season, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported this morning that Nottingham Forest are in talks with Tottenham over signing left-back Reguilon on a loan deal in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are willing to do a deal, but the North London club want Forest, who are playing in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship, to pay the Spain international left-back’s salary in full, according to the report.
Could Sergio Reguilon leave Nottingham Forest for Tottenham Hotspur?
In our view, a loan deal between Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest over Sergio Reguilon could happen.
If Forest are really keen on the 25-year-old Spain international left-back, then they should be willing to pay his salary in full.

It could be a simple loan deal or a deal with an option to buy.
That should be good enough for Tottenham, as they would be getting rid of a player head coach Antonio Conte does not have in his plans.
Reguilon is a good left-back who can also operate as a left wing-back, and he would make Forest a better team.
