Tottenham are reportedly considering a move to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in a swap deal involving Japhet Tanganga and with Harry Kane’s future in doubt – Fabio Paratici would be securing his best-ever Spurs transfer move.
Paratici has been responsible for some wonderful signings at Spurs. Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero on loan-to-buy deals have been excellent signings. Rodrigo Bentancur for little over £15million was incredible quality for money.
But there is a dark cloud looming. England skipper Kane is out of contract in 18 months and if Spurs are to get a fee for his services, they will have to sell him in the summer. That is of course, if they cannot convince Kane to sign a new deal.
So, Paratici’s biggest moment as Tottenham sporting director could emerge in the summer. The right man to replace Kane. Vlahovic is currently at his old club Juventus. It is fair to say – he has brought in some top signings from Juventus.

CMW say that £61million Juventus signing Vlahovic is a target for Tottenham. A possible replacement for Kane if the England star does depart. Paratici is keen, as is Conte. The report says, Spurs are planning a player-plus-cash deal.
A deal that would see Tanganga go to Juventus, as well as a fee of £26million. Hardly a huge figure, and also sees Spurs rid themselves of a player that has little-to-no impact at Spurs this season. Indeed, for all of Conte’s Spurs reign.
Vlahovic is a huge talent. A player Micah Richards says is “ridiculous”. With La Viola, he scored 49 goals in 108 games with Fiorentina and then 16 in 36 games for Juventus. Vlahovic would be the ideal replacement for Kane, at Tottenham.
He is a no.9 like Kane in that he has the technical ability, strength and work rate of Kane. He is also creative too, like Kane, willing to drop deep. So, Vlahovic is ideal and for £26m and Tanganga, he would be an incredible addition.
