Tottenham Hotspur want both Kyle Walker-Peters and Marcus Edwards just years after letting both academy graduates leave the club.
Spurs struck gold with Harry Kane; it’s pretty much everybody’s dream to rise through the ranks and become your club’s star striker.
Yet whilst Kane has become a star at Tottenham, others have ultimately struggled to nail down first-team roles at Tottenham.
Walker-Peters and Edwards are two great examples and yet the duo could find their way back to Tottenham after all in 2023.

Tottenham want Kyle Walker-Peters and Marcus Edwards
Walker-Peters was long tipped for a first-team spot at Tottenham and whilst had his moments, he just wasn’t playing regularly.
Tottenham loaned him to Southampton before the Saints struck a permanent deal in the summer of 2020.
Walker-Peters has gone on to become a very good Premier League full back and 90Min claim that Tottenham are keen.
Spurs don’t seem convinced by Emerson Royal as their right wing back and are keeping tabs on Walker-Peters for a potential return to North London.
Then there is Edwards, who was one of the most hyped wonderkids in England at one stage.
Edwards had to go a different route to Walker-Peters; he left Tottenham for Vitoria Guimaraes in 2019 in order to test himself abroad.
Edwards excelled in Portugal and Sporting Clube de Portugal struck to sign him in January of this year.
The winger has gone from strength to strength, dazzling in two performances against Spurs in the Champions League.
Portuguese newspaper Record reported last week that Tottenham are now keen to re-sign Edwards and are plotting a move for him in 2023.
Tottenham need creative competition in the final third to support Dejan Kulusevski and Edwards could be their man.
Walker-Peters and Edwards were both tipped for big things at Tottenham but had to leave to establish themselves.
Now, having improved and matured, the duo could make emotional returns to Spurs and finally shine in North London after all.
