Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-jae and will now allegedly scout him against Galatasaray this weekend.
Back in the summer of 2020, Tottenham were heavily linked with signing Kim from Chinese side Beijing Guoan.
For instance, The Mirror suggested that Son Heung-min was vital to the hopes of signing Kim and reports in South Korea suggested that a deal was expected.
No deal materialised as Tottenham ended up signing Joe Rodon instead, but the rumours haven’t died down.
Kim joined Fenerbahce in August 2021 and just months later Fotospor in Turkey suggested that Fabio Paratici was looking to bring the defender to Tottenham.
Here we are again then with more reports from Turkey claiming that Tottenham are keen.
This time, Fanatik claim that Tottenham will be sending scouts to watch Kim this weekend.
Fenerbahce take on bitter rivals Galatasaray this weekend and it’s seen as the ideal opportunity to go and watch the South Korean star in action.
CNN Turk did report last month that Tottenham and Newcastle United have started talks over a summer deal for Kim.
Tottenham scouting Kim this weekend just adds to the belief that they want to sign him, and seeing him in a high-pressure game will be important.

Kim, 25, has been compared to Virgil van Dijk in the past and continues to be linked with a big Premier League move.
This does though feel like another Leandro Damiao for Tottenham – a rumour signing that just never comes off.
Kim, much like Damiao back in the day, seems to be linked with Tottenham so regularly and yet it never feels like a move actually gets close.
Kim shining in Turkey is at least a step up from starring in China, which should impress Tottenham.
Yet if we had to make a guess, we would suggest that a move to Newcastle actually seems a little more likely than Tottenham this summer.
