Everton youngster Ishe Samuels-Smith is attracting major interest with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur interested.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in luring Ishe Samuels-Smith away from Everton.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that teenager Samuels-Smith is attracting major interest.

It’s claimed that City and Tottenham have been following the youngster’s progress for around a year now.

Both clubs may make moves for Samuels-Smith but Chelsea appear to have the strongest interest.

The Blues are now weighing up an offer to sign Samuels-Smith this summer in an effort to beat the competition.

Everton will be desperate to keep hold of left back Samuels-Smith, who appear to have a huge future ahead of him.

Fending of Premier League giants will be difficult though and Everton may well lose the 16-year-old in the coming months.

Who is Everton talent Ishe Samuels-Smith?

Samuels-Smith was born in Manchester – something City may well look to play on as they chase the left back.

Everton added him to their setup at Under-9 level, so Samuels-Smith has been with Everton for a while now.

The 17-year-old also has a brother in the Everton ranks with Odin Samuels-Smith featuring in the Under-18 Premier League last season.

Ishe played 15 times in Premier League 2 last season, testing himself against mostly older competition.

Samuels-Smith has also played prominently as a centre back for Everton Under-18’s and even England’s Under-17’s, picking up 11 caps so far.

Everton’s official website describes Samuels-Smith as an ‘exciting’ talent who has showcased ‘diligent defending’ and ‘marauding runs forward’.

The Mail praise Samuels-Smith as the ‘next Leighton Baines’ and Everton will be hoping to see him play as many first-team games as Baines – if they can fend off Premier League interest.
