Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea in the Premier League this afternoon, and Sergio Reguilon is hoping to supply Harry Kane with quality.
Tottenham have been struggling going forward under Nuno Espirito Santo.
In four Premier League outings, they have managed just three goals. Only one of them came from open play.
They will need to find more creativity today if they’re to beat Chelsea, with Kane seeking his first league goal of the season.
Reguilon hoping to supply Kane at Tottenham
Ahead of today’s Tottenham v Chelsea clash, left back Reguilon has been asked about the attacking play – and supplying Kane.
Reguilon told The Guardian ‘maybe, yes’ when asked if he could supply more crosses to Kane today as Tottenham seek creativity.
Reguilon also called on Tottenham to get into the box with more regularity, claiming they are working on that under Nuno.
“Maybe, yes,” said Reguilon. “We have to arrive more times in the box but it’s not easy or we’d see every team do the same. We are working for that,” he added.

Reguilon’s attacking output at Tottenham
When Tottenham signed Reguilon from Real Madrid last summer, he was billed as an attacking left back.
Reguilon hit three goals and five assists in 38 outings on loan at Sevilla, which sparked Tottenham’s pursuit.
Assist-wise, the numbers are relatively similar. In 40 games for Tottenham, Reguilon has six assists to his name.
Reguilon hasn’t yet scored for Tottenham though, and whilst the focus is on Kane to score, Reguilon would no doubt love to open his account.
