Tottenham Hotspur have been taking a look at Ramsgate ace Joshua Ajayi – and the non-league striker has been invited back for more training.
That’s according to Kent Online, who claim that Ajayi spent the last week on trial at Tottenham and impressed.
Tottenham have now asked to take Ajayi on board for another week as they consider securing the striker on a permanent basis.
Ajayi is allegedly considering his options given that he may actually have a permanent offer on the table.
League Two side Stevenage have a ‘firm offer’ in for Ajayi, whilst other teams are also thought to be interested.
What does Ajayi do? Push to secure a stunning move to Tottenham or take the added security of a Football League move with first-team action?
That’s a tough decision for Ajayi, who has tasted Premier League rejection once before in his career.
Formerly of Crystal Palace, Ajayi was released as a kid and moved down to non-league to get his career kickstarted.
The decision has paid off for Ajayi, who has smashed 17 goals for Ramsgate this season.
Ramsgate currently play in the Isthmian League South East Division, the eighth tier of English football.

Wherever Ajayi goes, he will be facing a big step up, but why not dream? The likes of Jamie Vardy and Michail Antonio have proven you can rise from non-league to the Premier League.
Ajayi will be hoping to do the same, with time certainly on the 19-year-old’s side.
Tottenham do already have four talented young strikers; Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, Dane Scarlett and Jamie Donley.
Ajayi would be joining them with major competition for action in the Under-23’s and when it comes to attracting Antonio Conte’s attention.
We will now see whether Ajayi chances his arm at another week with Tottenham rather than signing for Stevenage.
