The Times report Tottenham have joined West Ham and other Premier League clubs in the race to sign Hull City wonderkid Keane Lewis-Potter. The winger has scored six league goals this season, for the Tigers.
Lewis-Potter, 20, threw himself onto Brentford’s radar last summer having previously had a hand in 25 goals in just 74 games – despite his tender age. Brentford are said to have bid £8million, which was rejected.
But this season, his form has gone up a level. Indeed, he has 10 goal involvements in 28 games, scoring six and creating four more – in the Championship. Premier League clubs are now circling.
With Lewis-Potter in the final 18 months of his contract at Hull, The Times report that Tottenham have joined West Ham, Leicester, Southampton and Brentford in the race. Spurs are planning two signings this week.

Lewis-Potter is performing superbly for Hull. But if he is to move, which of the five Premier League sides should he consider? Well, a move to Tottenham might stifle his progress, given the amount of attacking options.
Bryan Gil, Steven Bergwijn, Ryan Sessegnon, even Jack Clarke are struggling to get a sniff – given the form of Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min. Leicester have plenty of options – but are renowned for signing Football League gems.
James Justin, the prime example. At West Ham, they are also well-stocked but like Leicester, have European football to offer. But a move to Southampton or Brentford is the next best stepping stone for Lewis-Potter.
Speaking in 2020 to Hull’s website, manager Grant McCann said: “He’s got all the tools to be anything he wants.”
