Fredy Guarin is set to be on his way out of Inter Milan … and White Hart Lane could be his destination.

Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin might just be one of the most wanted players in Europe right now – with rumours of approaches from Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus and Galatasaray all doing the rounds.

And today has seen Tottenham Hotspur once again linked with a move for the Colombian.

It is believed that Spurs have bid £8.2 million for the player as his availability is now flagged up in Italy.

A move to Juventus has collapsed – and Inter need a sale to fund other window movements.

The Nerazzuri are said to be looking for a fee nearer to the region of £15 million – but seeing how much they seem keen on getting rid of the Colombian international that price-tag is going to be hard to receive for the player.

Franco Baldini has already negotiated for the player once since his arrival at Tottenham Hotspur – as he tried to buy him for Andre Villas-Boas.

AVB managed Guarin whilst in charge of Porto – and the player was a regular in the team that he guided to domestic and European glory in the 2010-11 season.

He was also linked with Chelsea when AVB was the boss at the club – so he is certainly one player whom AVB wanted at White Hart Lane.

The difference to now and the summer – is Inter’s willingness to sell.

In the summer an apparent €20 million bid for the player fell on deaf ears – as the Italian outfit had absolutely no intention to sell the star for any price.

Now he is expected to leave in the next seven days – and Tottenham want him.

Unfortunately for AVB it comes seven months too late for him to enjoy his presence hands on.
