Tottenham want to sell Jack Clarke this summer and have received interest from both Sheffield United and Sunderland.
Clarke showed enormous promise in Marcelo Bielsa’s first season as Leeds United boss, emerging as an exciting talent down the flanks.
Tottenham saw enough in Clarke to pounce with a £10million deal in the summer of 2019, making him their first signing in over 500 days.
Clarke was sent back on loan to Leeds but it has been a struggle ever since. That spell with Leeds didn’t go to plan and neither did stints at Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.
The 21-year-old did make an impact at Sunderland in the second half of last season and Tottenham seem ready to let him go.
Tottenham want to sell Jack Clarke
The Northern Echo report that Tottenham are actively considering selling Clarke this summer now he’s into the final year of his contract.
Sunderland are pushing for a permanent deal for Clarke after he helped them win promotion to the Championship via the League One playoffs.
Sunderland clearly saw something from Clarke to make them chase a permanent deal but that won’t come easy this summer.
The report adds that Sheffield United have also made contact with Tottenham in the hope of a deal for Clarke.

Sunderland will absolutely hope that Clarke’s loan spell with the club stands them in good stead to sign him permanently.
Tottenham seem ready to let that happen and bring an end to one of the more forgettable Spurs signings in recent times.
Clarke still hasn’t made his Premier League debut for Tottenham and has only ever played four games in all competitions for the club.
Whilst much of the focus from that 2019 summer transfer window has revolved around the money spent on Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
The deal for Clarke doesn’t look much better though and three years after paying £10million for the wide man, Tottenham are ready to part ways.
