Some Spurs fans want Clarke to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Arena from Elland Road, where he is getting little game time since his move and loan return.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Leeds United loanee Jack Clarke once again not making the Whites’ matchday squad.
Spurs signed the Elland Road academy graduate in July, becoming their first signing since Lucas Moura joined from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2018, and was immediately loaned back to Leeds for the 2019-20 season.
At the time it seemed like a no-brainer to loan Clarke back to the Whites, ensuring the 18-year-old could continue to develop as a player at a club he knows inside out, and who are expected to challenge for promotion to the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa.
However, the teenager has been an unused substitute twice and did not even make the match day squad for the past two games, including last night’s game with Brentford – the only minutes he has played have been in the League Cup victory over Salford City.
With six loanees at Leeds and EFL rules restricting teams to a maximum of five loan players can be included in the squad, Clarke has been the one to miss out, and a number of Tottenham fans are starting to think he’s being wasted at Elland Road this term.
Here is what some Spurs fans said on social media about the matter:
Clarke signed a deal with the Premier League club until 2023 and, as understood by BBC Sport, a fee in the region of £10million has been agreed, with further payments scheduled if certain clauses are met.
