Tottenham are reported to be keen on Jeison Murillo.
Inter Milan’s Jeison Murillo celebrates after scoring a third goal against Frosinone
Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo is reportedly on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar despite them spurning the opportunity to sign him last summer.
Tuttomercatoweb reported Spurs sent scouts to watch him in action against Sampdoria on Monday night, although they were unfortunate with Murillo missing from Inter’s starting line-up.
The Colombian centre-back is 24, and has a big reputation, winning the best young player award at the 2015 Copa America.
Manchester United were linked by The Mirror with a £27 million move for Murillo a year ago, but elected to look towards Villarreal’s Eric Bailly instead.

Tottenham were actually offered the chance to sign Murillo last summer by Inter Milan, with Football Italia reporting how the Nerazzuri tried to tempt Tottenham into an exchange deal which would see Erik Lamela go the other way.
Spurs resisted the move, but Lamela’s season has been a write-off due to injury, recently undergoing surgery on a problem which has sidelined him since October.
Tottenham could elect to try and revisit the swap deal this summer if they felt Lamela was worth cashing in on, but they would probably put the money to better use than on Murillo.
