Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has just uploaded a video of himself on Monday afternoon (15/05/23) kicking a ball as he continues to recover from his long-term injury.
Back in February, Rodrigo Bentancur suffered an ACL injury, which required surgery, and it ruled the Tottenham star out for the rest of the season and his latest update, uploaded via his Instagram story, will be encouraging to fans.
In the meantime, Spurs, who have since booted out Antonio Conte and then Cristian Stellini, struggle in their fight for Europe and they are at risk of finishing outside of the top seven with two Premier League games remaining.

A player of Bentancur’s quality has been hugely missed for a side that, as the season draws to a close, has just declined for months and months now.
From going 5-0 down inside 20 minutes to Newcastle United to losing 3-2 at home to then relegated-threatened Bournemouth, since the turn of the year, the performances have been beyond abject.
But one thing that will make the fans smile is the fact that Bentancur is seemingly recovering well from his injury, as you can see below.
TOTTENHAM SHOULD BUILD THEIR MIDFIELD AROUND BENTANCUR
Whoever will be Tottenham’s next manager, they have to build the club’s midfield around Bentancur next season.
The 25-year-old is a high-class operator because of his ability to take the ball on the half-turn from deep, play those risky forward passes, and if need be, drive forward with the ball, as well as protect the back four with his aggressive play without the ball.
The likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr just haven’t been able to do that and have struggled in a two-man and three-man midfield, so much so, that it’s becoming customary for the team to concede early when on the road.
