Ian Wright has criticised Rodrigo Bentancur for his role in Tottenham Hotspur conceding to Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus on Saturday.
Tottenham made the short trip to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon having returned from the international break.
Antonio Conte was looking for better than Nuno Espirito Santo managed at the Emirates last season, when Tottenham fell to a 3-1 defeat.
Unfortunately for the Italian, it was more of the same as Arsenal were dominant, possibly even better than it that game last season.

Ian Wright has criticised Rodrigo Bentancur
Thomas Partey smashed Arsenal in front from long range before Harry Kane managed to level it up for Tottenham from the penalty spot.
Gabriel Jesus then prodded Arsenal ahead again before Emerson Royal was given his marching orders fro Spurs.
Granit Xhaka then sealed the 3-1 win for Arsenal as Tottenham left the Emirates with a defeat once again.
The Emerson red card of course changed the game but Tottenham will be gutted with the manner of Arsenal’s second goal.
Bukayo Saka was able to drift inside and fire a left-footed strike at Hugo Lloris, which the Frenchman fumbled.
Cristian Romero couldn’t sort his feet out and Gabriel Jesus was able to swoop in to score from close range.
The finger of blame has been pointed at Lloris for not holding onto Saka’s initial shot, which is more than fair for a keeper of his quality.
Romero has also been criticised for his inability to clear the danger, although the ball came at him very quickly.
Yet Ian Wright has focused on another Tottenham player – midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
When Saka was cutting inside onto his left foot, Bentancur was stood close by but not really moving to shut the Arsenal winger down.
Wright told Match of the Day that he felt Bentancur had to be proactive and close Saka down rather than stand idly by and watch him take a shot at Lloris.
Wright of course noted that Lloris should have done better himself but Bentancur could have done more to prevent the shot in the first place.
“I believe that Bentancur, for me, has to stop Saka,” said Wright. “He’s coming in on his left foot, they don’t do it, there’s enough time to shoot and the goalkeeper spills it,” he added.
