Tottenham Hotspur star Fernando Llorente did exactly what he was bought to do at the weekend.

Fernando Llorente might not have scored at the weekend, but he did the next best thing, change the game in a positive manner for his team.
Llorente has struggled since signing for Tottenham, scoring only twice.
He was linked with a late transfer move to Chelsea last month, and as The Evening Standard reported, if Spurs had received a decent offer, they would have considered selling.
His performances have come under scrutiny and if he does not improve then he could well be moved on in the summer, just like Vincent Janssen was this past year.

He was slated by fans for a woeful performance against Newport County in the FA Cup in late January, but at Anfield he became a little of an unsung hero.
The 2-2 draw was dominated by controversial penalty calls, Harry Kane’s 100th Premier League goal, and an incredible long range strike from Victor Wanyama.
Llorente’s contribution towards Tottenham’s equaliser flew under the radar.
It was the Spanish substitute who won the injury time header inside the penalty box which prompted Virgil van Dijk’s clumsy challenge on Erik Lamela, gifting Spurs the chance to equalise from the spot.
Llorente’s contribution to the game was brief, but important.
It was the sort of impact he was bought for, and at the weekend he delivered.
Now up against Newport County in the FA Cup tonight, Llorente has another shot at redemption.
