Tottenham have already signed two players.

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer business got off to an ideal start in early July.

Tanguy Ndombele became the club’s record signing and can be an elite addition, while the addition of Jack Clarke is a good investment for the future.

Since then, it’s been quiet. Now a second wave of transfers could be on the way.

In the fortnight since Ndombele’s addition, Spurs have been waiting to generate extra funds.

The Mail reported eight players have been put up for sale, reporting Daniel Levy said more money would be made available on condition the club can sell.

Now that is being met, with Kieran Trippier closing in on an exit.

Sky Sports report Trippier is meeting Atletico Madrid and ahead of a £25 million move.

Danny Rose is also closer to the exit, with The Telegraph reporting he has been left off the club’s pre-season tour.

Sales move Tottenham forward to add further players.

There has been talk of new midfielders, with Calciomercato reporting Nicolo Zaniolo is a target.

A replacement right-back or left-back could be needed. Spurs have been dragging their heels over Ryan Sessegnon all summer. Extra funds is likely to give them more urgency.
