Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino may opt to name a changed line-up on Sunday.

Serge Aurier could have a massive opportunity at Tottenham Hotspur, if Mauricio Pochettino starts him against Everton.

Pochettino confirmed that Aurier was back fit, but he did not take him to Holland in midweek to feature in Tottenham’s Champions League clash with Ajax.

Aurier watched at home as his teammates pulled off an amazing comeback to make the final of the European competition.

Tottenham’s starting line-up for the upcoming night in Madrid looks almost set in stone, but there may be a place up for grabs at right-back.

Kieran Trippier struggled once again against Ajax, and was partly at fault for both goals Spurs conceded.

The England international has been in poor form all campaign, and looks short of confidence.

Aurier could now put his spot under real pressure, if he starts against Everton and impresses.

It is worth remembering that Aurier began this season as Tottenham’s first choice right-back in Europe, and he generally impressed.

If the £23 million right-back (London Evening Standard) was to put in a standout performance against Everton this weekend he would really give Pochettino something to think about ahead of the final in Madrid.

And if the Ivorian is handed an opportunity to start on Sunday it could be the biggest chance of his Tottenham career to date.
