Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah was left off of Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s pre-season tour.

Onomah was sent out on loan by Mauricio Pochettino last season, with the Spurs youngster going on to impress at Aston Villa.
Onomah looked set for a majorly important pre-season at Tottenham this campaign, as he looked to stake his claim for a place in their first-team squad next season.
However, the midfielder has been left at home while his teammates have travelled to America for pre-season.
Onomah now looks set to miss out on the chance to show Pochettino how far he has developed over the past campaign, and that could be disastrous for his Spurs career.

With Oliver Skipp on the tour, Onomah now doesn’t just face the challenge of getting in the team over senior members, but he has other prospects challenging his spot on the substitutes’ bench.
And it may be that this injury has come at the worst possible time for Onomah, with his Spurs future thrown into further doubt.
