Tottenham Hotspur will take on winless Watford at the weekend with club football returning to action following the international break.

Troy Parrott has congratulated Oliver Skipp on Instagram after the Tottenham midfielder made his competitive debut for England’s U21’s last night.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side recorded a 5-1 win over Austria in their Euro 2021 qualifier, with Skipp coming on a second-half substitute.
It would have been a proud moment for Skipp, who has been on the rise during these past 12 months and he will want to continue his current climb.
After England had secured their comprehensive win at Stadium MK, Skipp sent this message from his personal Instagram account, with his fellow academy product, Parrott sending a simple three-word response:

Last season, Skipp had a breakthrough campaign in North London, as Mauricio Pochettino gave the teenager a chance in the first-team amid the injury problems he had in the middle of the park.
Whilst he wasn’t playing, week in and week out, when he was given the chance, he did take it with both hands, as he no doubt has a bright future at the club.
Despite Spurs’ troubles off the field and their struggles to produce strong performances, Skipp has rarely featured for the club this term.
His only start came during that EFL Cup defeat to Colchester United, whilst he has only featured for a couple of minutes from the bench in the Premier League.
The one positive is that he has been in Pochettino’s thoughts because he was in Spurs’ last matchday squad when they were beaten at Brighton.
