After being dumped out of the group stages in 2016/17, Spurs topped a group featuring Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Their reward was a second round clash with Juventus, who knocked them out in a closely contested second round tie.
This puts Tottenham in pot two, one ahead of finalists Liverpool who are in pot three. English teams cannot face each other in the group stages.
