Tottenham Hotspur have got the ball rolling in the summer transfer market with the purchases of Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke in recent days.

Tanguy Ndombele sent an emotional message to his former club Lyon on Instagram and then stated that he is ‘heading to Tottenham’ after signing for the Premier League club on Tuesday,
Spurs confirmed on their official Twitter account that they had captured the signature of the 22-year-old midfielder, who has penned a contract until 2025.
As reported by BBC Sport, the North London club have paid £54 million for his services, as Spurs stamp their authority in the transfer market heading into the new season.
On Wednesday evening, Ndomebele thanked one and all at Lyon for helping him in his ways, as he had a small little message for his new club, as posted on his personal Instagram account.

It is a real sign of intent from Tottenham, and no doubt relief from some at the club because they have finally made a big-money signing.

It was understandable why no players were coming through the door in previous windows, but after moving into their new stadium, things are now looking up for the club.
Mauricio Pochettino will be grateful for signings such as Ndombele because his ability to bully the opposition in the middle of the park will work a treat in his system.
They finished fourth in the Premier League last season and reached the Champions League final. If Spurs continue to add depth to their squad then a trophy will be around the corner.
