Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in the Champions League final, but Moussa Sissoko thought the scoreline was harsh.

Tottenham were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in their last competitive game, and neither team really got going in the contest.
Sissoko did feel that Tottenham edged the match though, and the final score did not reflect the way that the game went.
He said: “You are in the final to win, not to play. Even if it wasn’t a great game from both teams, I think we deserved more than Liverpool to win this final, but unluckily for us we didn’t win. None of us were happy, but that’s football and we have to learn from it.”
Sissoko was unfortunate to concede a penalty in the very first minute of the clash with Liverpool, which immediately put Tottenham on the back foot, when it was converted.
Sissoko actually had a miserable time against Liverpool last term, as he also missed a big chance when the two sides faced off in the league.

Tottenham arguably shouldn’t have lost to Liverpool when the two sides met at Anfield in the Premier League, but Sissoko missed a sitter, and Jurgen Klopp actually criticised him at the time.
He said to Football London: “Sissoko should score or hit the target probably.
“In the end, SIssoko is not under real pressure. He can finish it better. Virgil did his job, but in the end we needed Sissoko as well a little bit.”
Sissoko will be looking to get revenge on Liverpool this season, as Tottenham bid to win the Premier League title for the first time.
Spurs were caught short last term, but have strengthened in the transfer market this summer, and have lofty ambitions for the upcoming campaign.
