Lucas Moura could be a star for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted to Football London that Lucas Moura is now a “completely different player” to the one who signed in January.
The Brazilian winger joined Tottenham earlier this year from Paris Saint-Germain after struggling for regular football under Unai Emery in the French capital.
It’s safe to say that the former Sao Paolo star endured an indifferent first six months in North London, but he might take the Premier League by storm this time around.
Lucas has netted three times in Spurs’ first three league outings – including a brace in the 3-0 demolition of Manchester United last Monday – and here is what Pochettino said about his in-form schemer.
“Of course, when he arrived from PSG he was a completely different player from today because he was in a different reality,” he told Football London.
“It was a different reality from us and, of course, if you don’t improve and change, and don’t work hard, it’s so difficult to fight for a position. Of course for the players who arrive in January, always it’s hard for them to adapt to a new system and everything that is new for them.”
Sometimes with foreign imports it can take between six months to a year for them to replicate the form which prompted the club to buy them, and that could well be the case with Lucas.
He is playing with the gusto that was absent from his game earlier this calendar year, and long may it continue from a Lilywhites perspective.
