Leeds United should consider making a move for the highly rated Tottenham Hotspur youngster on loan in January.
Leeds are stuffed with attacking midfielders in their ranks, but Thomas Christiansen should still look to bring in at least one quality creative player during the January transfer window.
The Whites are winless in their last three Championship games, and need positive results to keep their promotion hopes alive.
With that in mind, Leeds should try their luck to sign Tottenham’s highly rated attacking midfielder cum forward Marcus Edwards on loan.
The 19-year-old is a highly talented attacking midfielder, and Mauricio Pochettino once claimed that he reminds him of young Lionel Messi.
He is an exceptional young talent but at this moment he needs to get away elsewhere on loan. He has struggled for first team games, and his attitude has been questioned time and again.
He has sublime technique and dribbling ability, and is very good at set-piece delivery. He should consider moving out on loan and get regular games under his belt to regain his confidence.
Edwards is a raw young talent, but he could bring the much-needed creativity for Christiansen’s side. He is slowly fading away from Spurs’ first-team picture, and the only way he can get back in Pochettino’s good books is to prove that he has the right work ethic to equal the rest of his qualities.
