Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in a battle for Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon.

Marcus Edwards could have a key role to play in convincing Ryan Sessegnon to move to Tottenham Hotspur, after the duo were named in the same England squad.
Spurs prospect Edwards was named alongside Sessegnon in the England under-19 squad for the European Championships this summer yesterday.
And Mauricio Pochettino may be hoping that Edwards talks positively about his time at Tottenham so far.

Sessegnon is thought to be on Spurs’ radar this summer, with Pochettino impressed by the 17-year-old from Fulham.
Sessegnon enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough year at Fulham this term, scoring seven goals and making 33 appearances despite his tender years.
Spurs currently face a fight to win Sessegnon’s signature, with Liverpool and Manchester United also interested (The Sun).

Fulham are said to value Sessegnon at £12 million (The Sun), which Tottenham, Liverpool and United are reportedly prepared to pay.
And it may be that Edwards could help to persuade Sessegnon that a Spurs move would be right for him, during their time together on international duty.
