Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jonathan de Bie put in an impressive performance at the weekend for the club’s under-18 side.
Promising goalkeeper De Bie signed for Spurs in the summer from Belgian club KV Mechelen, penning a three-year contract.
The 17-year-old is a long way off the first team, but the early signs from him are promising.
At the weekend he started for Spurs in their 1-1 draw with Chelsea, just his second match for the club.

De Bie made a number of saves and commanded his box well, with his performance proving the difference between Spurs suffering defeat and claiming a point.
His display was praised by Tottenham head of development John McDermott, who told the club’s official website: “Jonathan in goal was again very positive, he pulled off a couple of excellent saves.”
Tottenham’s goal was scored by attacking midfielder Samuel Shashoua, with Marc Guehi on target for Chelsea.
McDermott added that he was disappointed not to win the game but relieved not to lose.
