Tottenham Hotspur’s Juan Foyth makes generous gesture

Tottenham Hotspur ace has given money to his former club’s academy.

New Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth bid goodbye to former club Estudiantes at the end of last month – but has not forgotten his former team.

Argentine newspaper El Dia report Foyth has made a donation of 40,000 Euros to the club’s academy to show his gratitude for their contribution towards his career so far.

Foyth is an Argentina under-20 international and was a regular in Estudiantes’ side before the club decided to cash in on his services this summer to raise funds.

Spurs beat competition from Paris Saint-Germain for his signature, clinching the move at the end of the transfer window.

Foyth made his Tottenham debut this week in the Carabao Cup, helping to keep a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory over Barnsley.

The 19-year-old defender’s donation to his former club was a generous gesture and one he should be proud of.

Former teammate Santiago Ascacibar, who left Estudiantes for Stuttgart this summer also made a similar donation.
