Tottenham star Hugo Lloris took a step backwards at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur’s huge win against Everton was a fantastic day for the North London side.
There were terrific performances all over the pitch in a Spurs shirt, except for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
He was caught out of position for Gylfi Sigurdsson’s goal as the Toffees pulled back a consolation.
The Frenchman looked anything but a calming influence at the back and only a prolific performance from Tottenham’s attackers caused his display to fly largely under the radar.
Paulo Gazzaniga has been a revelation in goal for Tottenham in the cup games he has played in Lloris’ place.
If Lloris continues to play like this then Gazzaniga could end up taking his place on a more permanent basis.

Errors have been creeping into Lloris’ game over the past year, and he began this season terribly.
Over the past two months he has begun to play a bit better, but he let himself down at Goodison.
He picked a good game to make an error in, with Tottenham winning easily, but it won’t go ignored by Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching staff.
Lloris has to do better, or Tottenham will have to start considering making a change in goal.
