However, it seems that Arthur could be on his way to Italian giants Juventus in a swap deal.

According to Tuttosport, the youngster is training with the Barcelona reserves at the moment, with the Spanish giants ready to include the Brazilian in a swap deal with Juventus and get 30-year-old midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Nelson Semedo situation

Another Barcelona player Tottenham have been linked with is 26-year-old right-back Nelson Semedo.

According to Sky Sports, Barcelona want to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs and have offered Semedo and central defender Samuel Umtiti in a part-exchange deal.

However, The Daily Mail has now claimed that Manchester City are interested in signing Semedo to provide Kyle Walker with competition.

According to WhoScored, Arthur has scored three goals and provided three assists in 16 La Liga appearances for Barcelona so far this season.

Semedo has provided two assists in 21 La Liga matches for Barca so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
