Tottenham Hotspur are said to have contacted Olaf Rebbe as part of their search for a new technical director.

Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of appointing Wolfsburg’s Olaf Rebbe as technical director have been dashed by the man himself.
Kicker reported Rebbe was contacted by Spurs, who are making changes to their recruitment team after the departures of Ian Broomfield and Paul Mitchell.
The Londoners have already re-hired Steve Hitchen as head scout, but are believed to be seeking further appointments.
However it seems that Rebbe, who was only made Wolfsburg’s permanent sporting director in January, will not be heading to White Hart Lane any time soon.
The 38-year-old said, as quoted by ESPN: “That’s not an issue for me.
“Only two months ago, I took on a demanding challenge here at Wolfsburg.
“Moreover, I demand from everyone here that they commit to VfL, and that includes me, 100 per cent.”
Rebbe oversaw a positive winter of recruitment at the Volkswagen Arena, with the arrivals of Riechedly Bazoer (Ajax), and reported Spurs targets Paul-Georges Ntep (Rennes) and Yunus Malli (Mainz), helping to compensate for Julian Draxler’s departure to Paris Saint-Germain.
And according to Bild, Manchester City are also keen on the 38-year-old former Werder Bremen marketing man.
Hitchen helped to bring Luka Modric to Tottenham in his previous spell at White Hart Lane, before going on to work for a number of other clubs including Liverpool.
