The Dane dazzled for Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Christian Eriksen seems like he is coming into a bit of form at just the right time for Tottenham Hotspur.
The Denmark international has three goals in his last two Premier League games and although he was not on the scoresheet in Wednesday’s 3-1 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow, the former Ajax starlet dazzled nonetheless.
Tottenham had to come from behind to get the win and book their spot in the Europa League, with Dele Alli latching on to Eriksen’s floated cross en route to cancelling out Alan Dzagoev’s 33rd-minute opener.

And the Spurs playmaker had a big role in their second on the brink of half time, playing a wonderful over-the-top ball for the unmarked Danny Rose, who fired across the face of goal for Harry Kane to tap home from a few yards out.
Eriksen, along with Harry Winks, was at the heart of everything that the North Londoners created at Wembley, clocking 96 touches.
| Position | Team | Ball Recovery | Goal Assist | Duel Won | Total Att Assist | Touches | Total Pass | Accurate Pass | Appearances | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Christian Eriksen | MF | Tottenham | 6 | 1 | 2 | 8 | 96 | 64 | 56 | 1 | 90 |
In addition to that, he also managed to create eight chances – only one was considered a clear goalscoring opportunity – and complete 56 of his attempted 64 passes.

Off the ball he was fairly decent too; managing six ball recoveries and winning two of his duels to indicate a certain level of physicality on his part.
This is the type of form that Tottenham fans have been waiting for Eriksen to produce for much of the season, but with a gruelling festive period on the horizon, he will need to maintain this level of performance.
His and Tottenham’s next challenge is Manchester United away on Sunday.
