Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen’s contract expires in 2020.

Christian Eriksen has told the Independent that he does not want to talk about his Tottenham Hotspur future, but he is still enjoying his time with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Eriksen’s contract expires in 2020, which has increased speculation over his future with Spurs.

Tottenham are working on tying Eriksen down to a new deal, as he is so important to them.

But Pochettino’s side have been unable to keep the Dane up until now.

And Eriksen said, when asked if he intends to stay with Spurs: “I am just focusing on football. I leave the talking to someone else. But I am very happy where I am.”

Tottenham will obviously be desperate to keep Eriksen, as he is so vital to them.

The 25-year-old has become renowned as one of the finest playmakers in the Premier League.

Eriksen has actually started this season slowly, but his quality remains undoubted.

Eriksen will be in action later this evening when Tottenham take on Inter Milan in Champions League action.
