Tottenham Hotspur submitted a £25 million bid for the Fulham defender in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur should consider re-visiting their interest in Ryan Sessegnon in January, with Fulham struggling in the Championship.
Fulham rejected Spurs’ advances for Sessegnon in the summer, as the Cottagers appeared to be determined to push for promotion.
Fulham had been one of the best teams in the Championship last term, but they were knocked out in the play offs.
The London side then showed great desire to go one better this season, by rejecting big money for Sessegnon from Tottenham, as reported by the Daily Telegraph.

However, this season has not gone according to plan for Fulham in the slightest.
Fulham are currently in 15th place in the Championship table, and they look to have many more deficiencies in their squad than they did last campaign.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s side are still only four points away from the top six, but they will have to improve dramatically to get into the promotion race.

And Fulham may now be more tempted to cash in on Sessegnon, to upgrade other areas of their squad.
If Tottenham spent big on the youngster, Fulham could have the money to strengthen in other positions – where they need more quality.
And Spurs should be planning to test the water by bidding for Sessegnon again in January.
