Tottenham Hotspur winger Anthony Georgiou has been sent out on loan to Ipswich Town for the first half of the season.

Tottenham have given Ipswich temporary use of their academy graduate until the new year and Georgiou has made a solid start to life at Portman Road.
The Spurs youngster has regularly been used as a substitute, as he gets his first real taste of regular football.
And when Georgiou was asked about his future, the 22-year-old certainly did not seem to rule out the possibility of leaving Spurs on a longer-term basis when the new year arrives, possibly even on a permanent basis.
“I’m on loan until January and it’s all going well so we’ll see what happens from there,” he said.
Georgiou actually played fairly regularly for Tottenham over pre-season, where Mauricio Pochettino deployed him as a full-back.

However, Spurs may be willing to part company with Georgiou if a sizeable offer was to come in.
Georgiou is now reaching an age where he needs to be playing regularly, and he has never really threatened to make much of an impact at first-team level for Spurs.
Georgiou’s loan side, Ipswich, have made a very impressive start to the new campaign and currently sit in second spot.
