Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in buying Napoli midfielder Allan in January.

According to Calcio Napoli 24, Tottenham Hotspur are considering making a big-money move for Allan in January and he would make a superb addition to their midfield ranks.

Tottenham are believed to be keen on the Brazilian, who has played a vital role in Serie A all season.

And if Spurs were able to bring him in he would bring so much energy and dynamism to Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield.

Tottenham have started with Moussa Sissoko often recently, and the Frenchman has impressed.

Sissoko’s ability to break between the lines and drive Tottenham forward has been crucial.

Allan could have a similar impact to Sissoko, but he has fewer limitations than the former Newcastle United man.

While Sissoko’s ball retention and touch can often be questionable, Allan is supremely gifted in possession.

The 27-year-old has an all action style, and his ability to stifle opposition midfields is hugely impressive.

Allan could, therefore, make a brilliant addition to Spurs’ squad and if they can bring him in during the January window, Pochettino should do everything in his power to make it happen.
